Safari Amboseli Taita Hills Tsavo West and East – 5 Days 4 Nights – Safari, in Swahili, means journey : in this case we are talking about a journey into the savannah where wild animals are spotted struggling with their daily lives (Hippo- Kiboko , Elephant- Ndovo , Crocodile – Mamba – , Giraffe – Twiga , Lion – Simba , and others).
A unique and alternative trip to Kenya, which allows you to dedicate six whole days to the fantastic safari experience, to discover all the most important natural wonders of Kenya, with unparalleled charm.
You will cross rivers, lakes, deserts, dense forests, boundless savannahs, to discover three of the most renowned natural parks in all of Africa and the evocative oasis of Lake Amboseli, one of the most spectacular in the world.
Day 1
Departure from the accommodation in the direction of Amboseli National Park.
For lunch, arrive at the lodge or tented camp (based on booking), check-in, have lunch and relax.
After a journey that gives the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the African landscape with its colors and its magnificent savannah, we enter Amboseli Park for a first game drive.
In the afternoon, game drive until sunset in Amboseli park, where it is possible to see the majestic snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (5895 m). We also visit Lake Amboseli with its hippos. Return to the lodge or tented camp.
Dinner and, afterwards, everyone around the fire for the welcome show by a Masai representation.
Day 2
Wake up at the crack of dawn with the wonderful view of Kilimanjaro.
Breakfast, baggage check and departure for the last game drive at Amboseli Park.
Exit Amboseli Park and transfer towards Tsavo West Park.
For lunch, arrive at the Tsavo West lodge, check in, have lunch and relax.
After lunch, start of the first game drive in Tsavo West until sunset. Depending on the location within the park, possibility of photo safari at the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a fenced area where the very rare black rhinos have been brought.
Return to the lodge, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Wake up and breakfast.
Start of the game drive in the direction of the Mzima spring, in whose waters you can admire hippos and crocodiles. Possibility of walking safari at the Mzina spring, an underground spring where water filters through the volcanic rock at a constant daily rate of over 50 million gallons (190 million litres).
Further game drive in the direction of the park exit. Continue on the road that connects Nairobi to Mombasa in the direction of Tsavo East park.
We then enter Tsavo East Park for the first game drive.
At lunchtime, arrive at the lodge or tented camp (depending on booking), check-in, have lunch and relax.
Departure for the afternoon game drive until sunset and return to the lodge or tented camp.
Followed by dinner and overnight stay. Next to the restaurant there is a waterhole where the animals go to drink and it is therefore still possible to admire them up close.
Day 4
Wake up and breakfast.
Start of the last game drive at Tsavo East, then exit the Park and continue towards the Taita Hills reserve.
For lunch time, arrival at the Salt Lick Game Lodge, accommodation in the stilt house, lunch and relaxation.
Afternoon game drive until sunset and return to the lodge.
Dinner and overnight stay. Afterwards, the possibility of taking a night safari.
Day 5
Wake up and breakfast. Departure for the last game drive at Taita Hills.
Exit from the reserve and start of the return journey.
Lunch on the way back and continuation of the journey to your accommodations.
