Overview
A unique and alternative trip to Kenya, which allows you to dedicate six whole days to the fantastic safari experience, to discover all the most important natural wonders of Kenya, with unparalleled charm.
You will cross rivers, lakes, deserts, dense forests, boundless savannahs, to discover three of the most renowned natural parks in all of Africa and the evocative oasis of Lake Nakuru, one of the most spectacular in the world.
The Safari Program
Day 1
- For bookings from Nairobi, depart by land from your accommodations in the capital or from the airport directly towards the Masai Mara. The entrance to the reserve is about 300 km away and during the journey there is the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the African landscape with its colors and its magnificent savannah.
- Check-in at the chosen lodge or tented camp and first game drive in search of the “Big Five”. Lunch and relaxation.
- Departure for the second game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.
- Followed, upon request, by a possible night safari.
Day 2
- Wake up and breakfast.
- Departure for a morning game drive, during which you can also admire the sunrise over the savannah. Upon request, visit the Rhino Sanctuary or white rhino reserve, where you can get up close to very rare specimens of white rhinos. Alternatively, at the first light of dawn, always on request, it is possible to program the hot air balloon safari.
- Return to the lodge or tented camp for a second breakfast. Alternatively, on request, breakfast directly in the savannah.
- Another game drive.
- At lunch time, return to the lodge or tented camp, lunch and relaxation. Alternatively, on request, picnic and relaxation in the middle of the savannah.
- Departure for another game drive until sunset and, if the itinerary allows, visit the Mara river, crossed by the annual migrations that move from the Masai Mara to the Serengeti park in Tanzania. Upon request, it is possible to plan a visit to a Masai village, to visit the homes, learn about the history and watch the dances of this native warrior tribe.
- Return to the lodge or tented camp, dinner and overnight stay.
- Following, upon request, possible night safari.
Day 3
- Wake up and breakfast.
- Baggage check and departure towards Lake Nakuru.
- Arrival at Lake Nakuru. Entrance to the lodge, check-in, lunch and relaxation.
- Afternoon game drive on the shores of the lake until sunset.
- Return to Lake Nakuru lodge and relax.
- Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4
- Wake up and breakfast.
- Baggage check and departure towards Amboseli park.
- At lunch time, arrival at the lodge or tented camp in Amboseli park (based on booking), check-in, lunch and relax.
- Game drive until sunset in Amboseli park, from which you can see the majestic snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (5895 m). We also visit Lake Amboseli with its hippos. Return to the lodge or tented camp.
- Dinner and, afterwards, everyone around the fire for the welcome show by a Masai representation.
Day 5
- Wake up at the crack of dawn with the wonderful view of Kilimanjaro.
- Breakfast, baggage check and departure for the last game drive towards the Amboseli park exit.
- Continue in the direction of Tsavo East.
- You enter Tsavo East where the first game drive begins.
- At lunch time, arrival at the lodge or tented camp in the Tsavo East park (based on booking), check-in, lunch and relax.
- Departure for the afternoon game drive until sunset and return to the lodge or tented camp (based on booking).
- Followed by dinner and overnight stay. Next to the restaurant there is a pool of water where the animals go to drink and, during dinner, it is therefore still possible to admire the animals of the savannah up close.
Day 6
- Wake up and breakfast.
- Baggage check and departure for the last game drive towards the exit of the Tsavo East park.
- Return to your accommodation on the coast through the village of Kaloleni, a typical African village where some scenes of the film “Out of Africa” were filmed (at around 1.30 pm) or return directly to the airport for the return to Italy.
